Company Update

This has been an exciting year for Blue Altitude (BA) as we have continued to grow our customer base in providing services to ‘Blue Chip’ companies both at home and overseas. We have helped them to develop their organisations through our training services and our contracted services aiding them on numerous internal projects.

This has been supported by our own ambition in gaining our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation which has helped us to remain competitive and be a trusted provider of services to the aviation industry in providing bespoke airworthiness compliance training, contracted services and consultancy.

One of our achievements since starting is we have trained in excess of 2,500 delegates who have gained valuable competence from our bespoke training and have provided us with some fantastic feedback on how they have transferred knowledge learnt into their workplace.

Finally, we would like to thank those organisations that believe in the professionalism and commitment we provide and the services we offer.

Stores Goods Inward Activity

We have developed an innovative practical activity to determine the competency of the store person inspector for receiving ‘Goods Inward’ and this activity can help train other supporting stores persons.

Learning and identifying gaps in a store persons knowledge or experience through delivering our training courses underpins their understanding of the EASA regulations when receiving goods delivered from approved suppliers.

There is no requirement to attend a training course.  We simply send you a package(s) that contains various products plus their appropriate supporting documentation. The stores person is required to review the package in its entirety, list the errors or mistakes identified and send us their findings for assessment.  In return, we provide a solution to the errors identified plus a certificate of achievement if they meet the required standard. Yes, there is a standard we expect – Obviously!

Blue Altitude ‘Cheddar Cheese Model’ for Human Factors

To help reduce, minimise incidents and occurrences related to Human Factors, we are promoting our Cheddar Cheese Model when delivering Human Factors courses.  This has changed the way people engage in reducing the events and really see the simple and effective benefits.

Move away from the classic ‘Swiss Cheese’ model for human factors with all its holes of different sizes that are just full of excuses.

Adopt the NEW Blue Altitude ‘Cheddar Cheese Model’ which is a stronger human factors model therefore, make your organisation more whole and complete without the excuses and take action to ridding your organisation of the gaps (large holes)!

Continuation Training Programs (CTP)

We can design, develop and deliver internal continuation training programs.  Customers have seen their staff positively engage, interact and gain more from our type of delivery methods.  Reducing the workload for the Quality Department and enabling greater transparency when demonstrating compliance to the competent authority has reduced the internal non-conformities.
